After the magnificent return of SmallTown Beat last year, the significant warm-up event at The Factory in Paarden Eiland can not be forgotten. Now back for round 2, SmallTown Beat Presents: The Warehouse with Biodive, Bl33d, Deep Aztec, Novelty and powerhouse, Rose Bonica to close.

Bl33d

Iviwe Yekani, better known as “Bl33d,” is a Cape Town-based DJ who has gained a reputation for his unique blend of house music with a smooth yet crunchy twist. He is not only a skilled DJ but also a dope skater, which adds to his vibrant persona. Bl33d’s love for music is evident in every set he plays, as he effortlessly infuses his passion into each mix. His Guest House show on The Other Radio, which is still available to listen to online, showcased his eclectic taste in music and his ability to seamlessly mix tracks. The show is a testament to Bl33d’s dedication to his craft and his commitment to showcasing House music. Deep Aztec

Deep Aztec is a rising star in the South African electronic music scene, with an ability to create hypnotic grooves that captivate his audiences. Biodive

With a rich history in Cape Towns’ music industry, Terrence Pearce AKA Biodive, has been bringing fire to the event scene since the 2000’s. From Untamed Youth, to Private Life and NTSC, Biodive has been effecting a pulsating impact in CT in almost everything he does. Private Life was a weekly event held at The Waiting Room for almost eight years, showcasing renowned artists such as Tama Sumo, Lakuti, Antal, Jayda G, and Fred P. The event was highly regarded as one of the best House & Disco events in the city. Biodive and his friends went on to form the NTSC crew, which provided a platform for his club-focused sounds and his latest production project, Biodive.

Novelty

Novelty is a dynamic DJ duo hailing from Cape Town. The duo is comprised of Craig Van Dijk and Daniel Singer, who have been making waves in the local music scene with their unique blend of house, minimal house, dub, and dubby techno. Novelty have been lighting up dance floors across Cape Town, bringing their infectious energy and innovative sound to audiences across the city. Their roundhouse kick of a set at SmallTown Beat last year, further cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting acts on the local music scene. With a commitment to pushing the boundaries of dance music and a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences to their fans, Novelty is a force to be reckoned with.

Rose Bonica

Powerhouse behind Roses Are Red Records, Rose Bonica has been dropping some of the hottest and heaviest sets in CT for the past few years. Rose has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music with her unique sound, which blends elements of techno, house, and experimental music. Her tracks are characterized by unconventional rhythms, intricate sound design, and hypnotic melodies, creating a sonic landscape that is both haunting and captivating. Rose is also a sought-after DJ, known for her eclectic and energetic sets that span genres and moods. Finishing off the evening, Rose will be closing the night out in only a way she can.
