Human The Moon continues to break genre boundaries with new single “Tear It Down”.

“I am the memories you try hard to forget” are the poignant opening lyrics that set the emotive tone for Humane The Moon‘s latest release “Tear it Down“. The single is a powerful track that fuses the Diy Garage Rock sounds of the 2000s (Think The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Kills) with the modern Post-Punk sensibilities akin to the likes of Fontaines D.C., Idles, and The Murder Capital. The Grungy production, driven by moody guitar riffs, and a driving drum pattern melds perfectly with Humane The Moon’s raw and emotionally driven vocals. The track’s nostalgic sound with a decidedly modern edge immediately had me hooked an eager for more.

The genre-bending East London artist is a relative newcomer to the scene with his first official release coming in July last year with his single “A Track In Orbit“. In November he followed up with the release of his exciting debut EP “Mythomania“, which was predominantly written in his sparse free time between working 11-hour shifts as an electrician. Over the past year, Humane The Moon has built up a dedicated following, reaching 10k monthly listeners on Spotify, with his raw and original sound. He is gearing up for the release of his second EP “Debris Joice” next month, so stay tuned if you like what you hear from “Tear It Down”.
