I’m Ready For The Rave With Naco’s Take On Swinging Flavors
The Techno side of the CCCbeats hasn’t gotten the most love in recent times, and I’m willing to challenge the most popular genres here (Looking at you, Indie/Alternative). With this in mind, I present to you: Beat Machine Records & Naco. Beat Machine Records is a record label that specialises in the more hard-hitting genres that we’ve come to know and love so well, such as Techno, Acid and Breakbeat. Kyoto-based producer, Naco, described as a “gem of pure energy”, stars on the thirteenth instalment of Swinging Flavors, a series of releases that is sure to get you movin’. Naco brilliantly takes the listener on a journey through the realms of Acid, Techno and Breaks on the track, Wavefunk, blending and morphing them into a single, stream-like excursion.
Whether you find yourself to be a fan of Breaks and Acid House, or crave the Techno feel of rave music, the EP has you covered. The original track leans hard into the Breakbeat, experimenting and toying with different aspects to create a jam-packed adventure. However, it doesn’t stop there. The B-side is home to the We Rob Rave remix of Naco’s Wavefunk. The Polish duo, We Rob Rave, highlights the greatest strengths of Naco’s work, elevating it to new heights by transforming it into a full club experience, immersing the listener in a rave-like atmosphere fueled by danceable rhythms and an acid edge that cuts through the dance floor.

Naco is renowned for his innovative approach to electronic music, and since 2017 he has made waves in the scene. He has since headed his own record label, 85acid, dedicated to showcasing the upcoming talent from Japan and beyond. In 2019 he released a track called Amazon, which garnered national and international recognition. Naco has since been featured in record labels from around the world, such as the UK’s Scuffed Records and Failed Units, Italian Early Reflex, as well as Mexico’s WVWV, further cementing his foothold in the electronic music industry.
The Swinging Flavors series is an exciting one to follow, with its first release being in 2016. Each edition has its unique style with a remix of the track in the EP, providing over an hour of varied tastes for you to discover.
