Multi-genre singer/songwriter Maty Noyes releases her latest song “Idea”. An introspective gaze into the past, where she reflects on loss, acceptance, and appreciation of one’s integrity.

Having moved to LA from the quaint town of Corinth, Mississippi, Maty set her sights on realizing her dreams of becoming a music sensation, connecting with people from all walks of life. “I just knew,” remembers Maty. “I knew staying in a small town wasn’t for me. I knew my life was going to happen somewhere else. I needed the freedom to delve deeper into my passion and fully get in touch with my sound.” Constantly trying to push herself, Maty allows herself the space to recreate her sound within multiple genres, from more disco and pop to soul.

Matty is not defined by one genre and uses her dynamic songwriting to poetically knit an image of understanding. Realizing that often people who you lose are lost for a reason. It’s a self-reflective moment for you to look back and see how you’ve grown and with what you’re willing to put up with or what you deserve. “Idea” takes you on a journey, using Matty’s voice as a catalyst to dive deep into your soul.

This is the third single from her forthcoming project Rainbow Syndrome. “Idea” follows the project’s first single “Lighter Thief”. Her knack for storytelling, which she delivers with her sharp tongue and distinctly sultry voice, creates an image within itself, allowing you a deeper look into the mind of Maty Noyes.

“Music is therapeutic to me,” says Maty. “I can’t move on from something in my life until I’ve written a song about it – happy, sad, confused, any emotion. And I don’t hold anything back, it’s always truthful and vulnerable.
