Smooth Neo-Soul online collab “Chaser” is sunshine in sonic form.

UK multi-instrumentalist Will Eason, Italian Jazz artist Gabe Costa, and German producer Felix Hien have linked up for a special collaboration on “Chaser”. This light and joyful Neo-soul track finds the trio working in perfect harmony, with each artist playing their role to perfection as the instruments bounce delicately off one another. Felix’s production, paired with Gabe’s funky bass guitar riff, and Will’s woozy synth lines and intricate lead guitar riffs drive the smooth and uplifting soundscape of the track. This online collabaration, spanning London, Cologne and Milan came about through the trio discovering and loving each other’s music through being signed to the same label, Vokall Records.

The energetic instrumental track which derives elements from Neo-Soul, Jazz, RnB and Hip-Hop was heavily influenced by Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes‘ “What Kinda Music” Record. this track elevates its sound with lush, gritty guitar textures, a deep, throbbing bass, and tight, punchy drums. Eason’s buttery soft guitar solos and synth work, combined with Costa’s nuanced, groove-laden bass lines, create a dynamic and refreshing soundscape that is both sophisticated and energetic. The trio have truly crafted a musical gem that showcases their collective talents and unique artistic visions.

Felix Hien’s production shines through with its genre-blending wizardry, seamlessly weaving soulful vibes and tight pocketed beats into a cohesive whole. Gabe Costa’s rock, jazz, and funk influences are evident in the track’s driving bass lines, which serve as the perfect foundation for Eason’s intricate guitar solos. The collaborative synergy between these artists is palpable, resulting in a tune that feels both light-footed and confident.

As they work towards a full body of work set for release in 2025, fans can look forward to more innovative and inspiring music from this talented trio. This track is not just a testament to their individual skills, but a celebration of their collective musical chemistry and creativity.
