Broken Telephone set for live debut at No Strings Attached.
Drawing from Jazz, post-punk, Hip Hop, Pop, Ambient music and Electronica, Broken Telephone is the dynamic solo project of Cape Town-born multi-instrumentalist and poet Neil Büchner Jr.
Neil is perhaps best known as the frontman of Cape Town art rock band PXLS, who performed at Endless Daze, and Playtopia, toured Gauteng and included members of Sold Ash and Suenos.
The project has managed to secure EU and US press coverage, with just a handful of diverse releases to its name and has been labelled as both ‘erratically energetic’ and ‘abstractly atmospheric’.
Broken Telephone will be making its live debut at ‘No Strings Attached’ this coming Saturday night. Joining Neil will be Mark Van Zyl (M V Z), original guitarist of Cape Town shoegazer’s Filthy Hippies and Afrikaans Skate Punks Lat Patrollie, as well as fast-rising Cape Town MC Jarry Pitboi.
