High Tide @ The Bell
February was fun! Love was in the air and @brassbellkalkbay was going off! Now as we are soon to enter into the month of March we look forward to another rendition of High Tide 🌊
@californiajanson is a musical poet exploring the past and present with guitar and voice. Cali involves folklore, storytelling, and elemental influences that take us into the space of no-time. Testing the waters with loop pedals and vocal pedals, California’s Celtic-influenced sound transports her audience to a mystical world.
@karriers_sa are back in the Bell. Expect a high-energy, genre bending, language blending set from these Boland punks/ Slaapstad rockers! Bridging gaps with language these guys are hard, heavy, and ready to revolutionize the scene with their genre-bending sound.
Consisting of members @pierreloops on drums, Louwrens Venter on guitar and @n8_the_nomad on bass/vocals @sidepiece_band are sure to get the blood pumping with a sonic landscape full of infectious grooves, thunderous drums and tongue-in-cheek lyrics that are more than meets the eye. With influences ranging from The Clash to Queens of the Stone Age and Idles to the Pixies, this band has hypnotic verses that lead into huge, memorable, wall of sound choruses. Headlining the show this band is new Down South but are sure to make it a memorable night!
