It is here. As you are by now sure aware, we are covering as well as curating a space at SmallTown Beat 2022 and as the noon cannon announced 12:00 today, so too did the STB team announce the full artist lineup for this year.

With a soundscape that is already being heralded as one of the best collections and curation of music this year has to hold, the diverse and encompassing range of the multitude of incredible collectives involved guarantees just how good this festival is going to be. With a selection of headlining international acts such Ogazón, Fafi Abdel Nour, Deniro and OK Williams the SmallTown Beat team have pulled out all the stops.

But as amazing as the International acts will be (and from what we’ve seen, they will be) we are mostly thrilled at the lineup of local fire. From some of the hottest up-and-coming names in SA, the list is chock-full of multi-talented and exceptional local artists. We aren’t even going to pick out anyone in particular, as each artist brings their own unique sound and style to the floor that we are READY for. From live performers to incredible and visceral DJ sets, the sheer range of talent and genres projected blends the best of the best for a weekend that should excite you all the way down to your bones.
